Darwin fall Death Valley National Park

Is death valley the largest national park? Yes! the death valley is the largest national park in lower 48 states. Panamint Springs in the western part of the death valley is a small town that is considered nearest to the trailhead of Darwin fall. The Panamint Valley has some facilities for tourists like a gas station, campsite, and lodging.  I would suggest you take the western side as the view is worth seeing. Otherwise, you will also find darwin falls death valley track on google map and follow it.

After covering some distance from the Panamint valley, highway 190 turn into a dirt road. The path is rough and it’s difficult to drive on the road. After passing the 2 miles of the dirt road you will reach the trailhead. It is especially very difficult to drive on this road after it rains. I would not recommend going there in the rainy season.

When you reach the trailhead, you will find an information plaque. All the information regarding hiking, locations, do’s and don’t are written on it. There is also a parking area where you can park your car or any other vehicle.

From here you have to walk half a mile, the condition here is quite drastic as there is no shadow. The land is quite dry and you will be exposed to the sun. The pathway is quite flat and straightforward. When you will reach the center of the canyon you will find some greenery. The more you progress, the more you will find the green plants. This is the sign of oasis ahead.

When you will turn right from the canyon, the oasis will start getting into the scene. It looks nothing more than a miracle. Tricking water adds more fun to your adventure, there is a lot of shade there to escape from the sun.

The canyon narrows down into a small pool for darwin falls.

From the parking region, the all-around trampled way to the falls crosses the dry wash and follows near the right half of the valley, running close by a plastic inventory pipe that takes water from the rivulet, apparently to Panamint Springs town. The way goes through two iron fences, as the canyon passes suddenly you will see a stream, and the canyon ground turns out to be very green. The course is presented on the left side, there are small cliffs, and the way is dull and cool, concealed by enormous cottonwood trees.

It closes at the foot of the lower falls, where the waters pour around 20 feet onto a stone and split into 2 channels, which stream into a shallow pool underneath – a frequently shot scene. The pool is ringed by greeneries and brambles and is a serene spot whenever visited alone, however, the climb to this point will in general be very well known. The vast majority go no further, nonetheless.
