We wanted to keep our car in the garage for a bit to walk around after check out but that meant we had to walk all of our luggage back to the car in the parking garage once we checked out. They said they would validate parking but we still paid $45, maybe because we stayed an extra few hours.
The other downfall for us was we had to go down to the front desk and ask for ice instead of there being ice machines on the floor. The hotel was a great price for the size of the room. The location was awesome, near everything. The staff was very friendly!

There is no spa or gym, however, there is a dipping pool on the sixth level of the neighboring building (The Cabana Club). For exercise enthusiasts, the hotel has a collaboration with Bucktown Athletic Club, a fully equipped gym next door, to which guests have complimentary access.
Everything about the Robey was very nice to excellent, but the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom is a frosted window so it is SUPER thin. Every sound made in the bathroom could be heard by someone in the bedroom. Also, because it is a downtown location, expect late-night city noise. The mattress on the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
